Reception 1...

Our wheat sheaf wall lights have now made it onto the walls within reception 1.

I found them in a BIG heap crap! Price tag £40 = BARGAIN!

The previous owners had gone to great lengths and had given them a paint job of red, white and blue = FAIL!

As the wall light started off red,white and blue, we made a trip to the local hardware store to pick up some GOLD car spray, SO - that me Dad could work his magic on them!

NEW baskets loaded with logs.

+ our NEW asymmetric curved sofa covered in black linen.

Hall...

Apologies yet again for the lack of updates! Super busy with one or another - ANYWHO!!!...I spent my 1st real day off in weeks taking pictures of the house yesterday and pulling together some updates for you.

So here we go...

We finally got around to having the ceiling under the staircase painted Farrow and Ball Pitch Black with an egg shell finish...

Its taken a few days to get use to, its had a HUGE impact on the light! BUT - I LOVE IT!!! It's done what I wanted, which was to high light the shape of the staircase and painting it in the same finish has made it look seamless...if that makes any sense!

We also have a NEW addition to the hall, which is this industrial warehouse window! Mirror is added to where the glass use to be.

Reception 1...

Everything that is coming though the front door at the moment seems to be the same shade of BLUE!

I have no idea why! Could have something to do with my frame of mind...

Loving me NEW chair...I just need to style/pimp it up or move it to another room!

Bedroom 4...

HATE HATE HATE what I've done to this room...

Don't asked, too many reasons list!

So - I'm planning on changing it again.

As this room is for Jonathan and his HUGE TV + his CRAP film/dvd collection, I'm also thinking of having a shelving unit made so that he has somewhere to stick em!

Hall...

I also wanting to get moving with painting the celling under the staircase.

I have the paint...I'm just wanting for me Dad to finish the list of decorating jobs that me mothers has him doing in there home.

I've been on the look out for pineapple based lamps for years...I could believe me luck then I stumbled across these!

I've pimped them up with gold shades.

So - the rug is now siting on the floor in reception 1 as Jonathan turn'd his hog out when I sat it down in his dressing room!
