Reception 3...

This is the 1st from a pair of 1960's 5 tiered Murano glass tubes chandeliers...

h.30cm diam.60cm 


The 2nd one is also up and is making a home for itself within Jonathan's cinema room...BUT - I cant seem to get a good shot if it! I'll have another go later.






 Jacob getting VERY bored with me! He's fallen asleep sitting up!

Murano glass tubes chandeliers...

Popped into the office on Fri...loaded up me Mac and among my work emails a NEW stock mailer from one of my FAVOURITE place's to shop the french house!

AND - On that mailer...

A pair of 1960's 5 tiered Murano glass tubes chandeliers h.30cm diam.60cam

We pick them up on Sat!!

Reception 3...

I must be feeling a little better...If I have the energy to update me blog!

The doctor has informed me that I could be like this for up to 6 weeks!!! Anyway...I'm back there today for a check up.

AND - because of illness...I've only left the house on 2 occasions!!! I"M GOING INSANE!!!

The 1st time was to the Lincoln Antiques Show-ground...where I picked up this GOLD occasional table

Reception 3...

The local art exhibition ended just before Christmas....which meant only one thing! 

A special delivery!!!

The artist himself delivered both pieces to the house...The first piece is now sitting within reception 3.

A plaster cast of a very famous nose purchased on our trip to Florence.

Chrome ceiling purchased light from Newark market...

AND - to my surprise when flicking though my copy of VOGUE living ( Jan/ Feb 2012 page 192 ) there it is!

Turns out it's a...1970's chrome chandelier by Robert Sonneman.


Great White Farrow and Ball painted floor.


Arne Jacobsen egg chair + foot stool in white leather...


Convex mirror...


A vintage leather chesterfield sofa c1880 in tan leather.

Reception 3...

Updated images of reception 3...


I've moved the Chesterfield sofa into the 3rd reception room. My intentions were to have it in this room when purchasing it...LOVE it up against the dark grey walls! ( Farrow and ball Down pipe )

I'm NOW on the look out for a consul table which will sit just be-hide it + hang one of our Geoff Keen paintings on the wall above.

Also on me list....ceiling light + rug + coffee table + sofa/2 lounge chairs + mirrors + cushions + lamps!!!


I've also unpacked some of our artwork + moved the floor lamp from reception 2...this is only temporary until i've purchased things from my list to replace.









The GAINT drift wood urns/vases that we purchased from the Newark antiques fair have been delivered....I'm thinking that I may turn them into floor lamps?
