Home Office...

I've been waiting for days, hoping that the light will get better...SO - that I can take pictures of the home office.

BUT - I don't think its going to get any better than this.

Anyway - Even in this light I LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! my wooden home office walls.

Martin is back Wed to repaint the floor, doors and door frames.

Hall...

 My tin ceiling tiles are now up on the wall outside of me dressing room.

LOVING the contrast from flat shiny white metro tiles in my dressing room, to the rusty flakey texture of the ceiling tiles outside...

And - I'm also LOVING how the day light touches them, casting light and shadows...and as the light changes throughout the day SO - do my tiles...

I'm now thinking that I need to get Martin to re hang the door in the imags below...SO - that It opens into Jonathan's cinema room, I'm not LOVING the fact its covering some of me wall.

Hall...

Apologies yet again for the lack of updates! Super busy with one or another - ANYWHO!!!...I spent my 1st real day off in weeks taking pictures of the house yesterday and pulling together some updates for you.

So here we go...

We finally got around to having the ceiling under the staircase painted Farrow and Ball Pitch Black with an egg shell finish...

Its taken a few days to get use to, its had a HUGE impact on the light! BUT - I LOVE IT!!! It's done what I wanted, which was to high light the shape of the staircase and painting it in the same finish has made it look seamless...if that makes any sense!

We also have a NEW addition to the hall, which is this industrial warehouse window! Mirror is added to where the glass use to be.

Hall...

My NEW door mat, well - its a door mat now!

Its actually a sample of a rug that the store will no longer be putting into production...SO - they where selling up the samples.

I didn't know at the time of purchasing it what I was going to do with it, BUT - my 6 sense was telling me to BUY! BUY! BUY! It was going cheap, SO - how could say no!!!

Anyway, I get it home and theres only one place for it ( OBVIOUSLY ) it would be completely useless for anything else.

I really must take time out find homes for some of this SHIZ! There's way TOO much going on here, its starting to give me a headache.

Home Office...

NEW fuzzy felt/flock office phone.

When handling the thing, I get the same feelings you get someone drags their finger nails down a blackboard!!!

Style over comfort = FAIL!!!

Looks like I need to thin some of this SHIZ out! Its starting to look like a junk shop!!!

I also wanting to get moving with painting the celling under the staircase.

I have the paint...I'm just wanting for me Dad to finish the list of decorating jobs that me mothers has him doing in there home.
