Home Office...

While we where away my Dad sanded back the plaster work and repainted the wall in and around The Boardwalk.

SO - The sign had to come off the wall to enable the builder to channel out the plaster work so that the Neon guy could hide the cables within.

This is what we've been living with for the last 2 weeks! 

My parents are back after having had a 2 week cruise...My Dad can now sand the new plaster work and repaint the wall. 

Home Office...

SO - I've had to move...

I'm working from reception 2 at the moment.

The neon guy needs access the the loft.

And the door is above my home office desk.

Neon tubes installed.

Both the neon guy and builder are back Fri to get this thing finally working!

The Boardwalk is up! And - the neon guy will be here on Wed to install the lights.

The Boardwalk...

Milo the car mechanic who spray's car's for a living...has just turned up with "The Boardwalk" as he's finished re spraying it for us... 

He's cleaned all the muck from off of the red and re sprayed the white...as the white was really dirty.

This means...the neon is ready to go...the sign is ready to go...BUT - am I???

AAAAaaaaaRRRRRrrrrrGGGgggggHhhhHh!!!

I think I've made my mind up...

"The" will go above the en-suite doorway...and "Boardwalk" on the wall to the righthand side?

Home Office...

I've started to think that I maybe need to "ZONE" the office space??? A room within a room.

Instead of it looking like it's a part of the hallway/landing...by covering the walls with a wallpaper/texture. 

This wallpaper is one of me FAV's...BUT - would it be an obvious choice?

I was thinking of adding it to the wall with the door?

OR....

I could clad both walls...from - hand rail, upto and over the door with reclaimed wood...floor to ceiling!

Waiting for me to get home from York was my NEW pinboard that I'd ordered!

I'm going to get me Dad to paint it Farrow and Ball Pitch Black.

Seeing that the builder is having to come back to install my NEW 5 tiered Murano glass tubes chandeliers...I thought it would be a good idea to give him a full days work by getting him to install 2 other light fittings.

SO - I've ordered 2 Large Czech downlighters ( image above ) from...

I've requested that both ceiling lights come with 4m of black flex attached - Both light fittings will hand above my home office - Image above mood/inspiration
