Home Office...

I'm leaving you this week with images of the home office and of my NEW white cube which was picked up from a house clearance, Its cleaned up nicely and now holds all of me CRAP/WORK after every working day!

Out of sight, out of mind!

I can now walk by my home office without having to be reminded all of my unfinished work I need to do.

Still haven't found a cushion for me backside yet! BUT - I'm still looking!!!

Landing...

This is the 2nd update of the day! these images are of the NEW drift wood ceiling light that's just gone up within landing area of the house.

I must say that I'm really starting to LOVE the MIX of lighting within the hall and landing.

The NEW wooden ceiling light with its structure and texture, sit against the HUGE black industrial lights above the home office desk, both of which work nicely next to the colour and the fluidity of The Boardwalk neon signage, all of which hang out next to the delicateness of the chandelier in the hall.

WOW - get me, talking like I know what I'm doing!!! #StopTalkingCrap

Reception 3...

2 updates today!!! the 1st is just for my reference! SO - Apologies to one and all if you are SICK to death of seeing this room.

Bedroom 3...

WHO THOUGHT is made up from 2 separate vintage signs pieced together.

The lager letter's ( WHO ) came from a HUGE pile of letters that where sold individually and at the point of purchasing WHO...is was displayed as HOW and THOUGHT is in one piece.

I spent a good few hours cleaning them up and moving them around the house to see where they would be best suited.

I moved the W into my dressingroom 1st to see if it would fit onto the shelf!

Then it HIT ME!!! rearrange HOW into WHO + add THOUGHT = GENIUS!!!

I needed a sit down after that! when your the mental age of 8 year old something can be a little DIFFICULT!!!

Darth Vader Lego alarm clock.

More glass jars as i used my other glass jars in the en-suite, I'm still looking out for something to fill them.

Reception 1...

Our wheat sheaf wall lights have now made it onto the walls within reception 1.

I found them in a BIG heap crap! Price tag £40 = BARGAIN!

The previous owners had gone to great lengths and had given them a paint job of red, white and blue = FAIL!

Beautiful flowers from the LOVELY Clare Nolan who spent the day with me here at the house.

Clare Nolan is the lifestyle editor of the Mail on Sunday's YOU magazine and has been writing and styling for interiors magazines for nearly 15 years.

Clare is writing a feature for YOU magazine about yours truly!!! the house, blog and www.shootfactory.co.uk the article is out in Oct.

As the wall light started off red, white and blue, we made a trip to the local hardware store to pick up some GOLD car spray, SO - that me Dad could work his magic on them!

( FABULOUS job Dad! )
