Reception 1...

I ended up having a HUGE DRAMA with the courier company yesterday! 

BUT - I did eventually receive my mirrors and they made it up North in one piece, which is a good thing as my head was in bits...

I didn't realise how GHETTO I am!!!

Anyway - The mirrors are 100cm in diamamter and have a cast iron frame with antique mirror inserts, they only just fit.

Ignore the SATAN box! Hate them...they is TOO UGLY! 

There is still SO much I want to do to this room, I haven't really got started on it yet.

AND - is that a FIDDLE LEAF FIG???

I think it is!!! 

AND - for those of you who use GOOGLE READER...his will no longer be available after the 1st of July!

Bedroom 2...

So - Ive just counted a grand total of 8 mirrors purchased over the last 2 days!

WHY???...

I cant stand to see my decaying face and body, throughout my working life my eyes have been trained to look for the imperfections within things...so - having 8 mirrors in the house is going to be HELL!

I cant mark my face and body up and send it off for 20 grands worth of retouching...CAN I???

Anyway...I finally got around to buying 2 of these mirrors in the above image for the en suite. 

Adding both mirrors to the en suite will change things up little, BUT - this room...as with all other rooms within this house...is still far from finished!

I'm still looking at adding texture to the wall behind the basins, maybe a concrete wall paper? Maybe not?

Maybe a patterned ceramic tiled rug under the bath? Maybe not?

WHO CAN SAY WHAT WILL HAPPEN! 

I may just give it all up! Sit in a dark room never to see the light of day again when these mirrors turn up! And - when I'm reminded of what I actually look like.

Bedroom 3...

I've also been LOVING/STALKING these mirrors daily, which are again located in London!

And - again...I haven't got around to doing anything about it until now. 

Ive defiantly killed that bird with 3 stones now, BUT - it make sense to me to fill the couriers van while I can.

Ive been on the hunt for a HUGE retro mirror to sit in between the window frame and shelve in my dressing room, BUT - have been restricted by a measurement of 100cm wide...

These mirrors are just the right height at 200cm + I can use 4 across within my size restraints...not only that you can also use them to hang stuff on them.

LOVE!

Reception 1...

I saw this pair of mirrors the other week and have been stalking them daily, But - haven't got around to doing anything about it. 

1 - TOO busy. 2 - They're in London. 3 - Just too LAZY!!!

( Another...BUT! but a big one...)

BUT - The 2 Fiddle leaf Fig trees that I ordered from Holland have just touched down in London and need collecting ASAP.

SO - I'm planning on killing 2 birds with one stone.

I ordered 2 Fiddle Leaf Figs trees last week.

AND - If you live in the UK as I do! You'll know how difficult it is to track them down as nobody sells them!

Mine have made there way over from Holland and have just landed in London.

SO - FLUFFING excited!!!

Cushions...

Ive been on the hunt for some great geometric cushions for some time now and couldn't believe my luck when I stumbled upon Gillian who lives around the corner, Gillian makes traditional quilts and cushions to order.

I contacted Gillian to see if I could use her traditional quilt making skills to make some black and white geometric cushions with a contrasting trim.

After I overload Gillian's inbox with visual ref of the kind of thing I was looking for...Gillian give in to my requests and has just dropped off these!!! 

They're even better than I could have imagined...SO - Happy with the way they have turned out!!! 

We also have 2 other designs on the way which will be apart of this range + plans of a floral range using the same designs.

Home Office...

NEW home office chair.

Not only does it look great...its surprisingly very comfortable! Which I say is a WIN!!! WIN!!!

Reception 1...

We've just picked up another 2 other pieces of artwork. Both pieces are by artists very local to the area.

I LOVE this piece SO much...I contacted the artist and arranged a meet so - that I could inform her of what we are doing here at www.47parkavenue.co.uk 

Helen's artwork will be available to buy online @ www.47parkavenue.co.uk 

Helen cuts and folds paper into different size bufferfly's...for a piece this size that process takes 3 full days, Helen then stitches with a needle and thread each butterfly onto paper!

Helen is in the process of making 2 pieces for the site that measure 100cmx100cm! 

 I CANT WAIT TO SEE THE END RESULTS! SO - EXCITED!

Reception 1...

I've only just got around to taking pictures of this table a chairs which came from out of reception 2 to make way for the pink sofa, I've moved table a chairs into the bay window of reception 1.

I have plans to reupholster both chairs, but - only when I'm happy with where they end up living!
